If you are looking to do a letterbox distribution pre-Christmas; time is of the essence.

Our office will close from 23rd December until approximately the middle of January, however, distribution can still happen throughout the holidays as long as it is booked prior to Xmas.

Two questions I get asked a lot:

  1. “Should you keep advertising when people are “on holiday”? Conventional wisdom states “ABSOLUTELY” mainly because a lot of your competitors will NOT….this means you get more visibility via your chosen advertising channel.
  2. “Should I cut all advertising spend in a recession?” Stats show that the answer to this is a big NO. The data shows that companies that continue to advertise during a recession recover more strongly and maintain market share more readily than those that do not.

If you use a combination of media eg print, digital, and TV, you might want to “tweak” your mix over the summer to better reach your target audience; but you can still reach them e.g. if you think most of your customers will be going away, dial-up your flyer advertising in holiday centres and dial it down in suburbs where they normally reside.
