One year on from the original post (https://admailnz.co.nz/flyer-distribution-more-ads-less-impact/) and the numbers are not getting any prettier! Digital marketers would tell you the growth in the market is a great thing and I am not saying digital is not a valid channel, however, be aware of the level of exposure people have to digital and how fatigued some people are with the constant bombardment.

I think that Ad-Blockers and similar technology will continue to improve helping people to filter Ads – if you look at TV as a proxy; TV on Demand etc has massively impacted cut-through of Ad spend on that medium.
THE MESSAGE: Direct Mail should still be considered as part of any marketing campaign; but you must adhere to the basics: great design, a resonant message etc.
